I have been rocking my hair natural and chemical free for about 3 years now and just about every summer I will get a full sew-in weave as a protective style. I have tried my share of different brands of hair extentions and right now my Queen brand hair is winning! Prior to trying this hair I was told that the best hair to get was a brand called Remy Velvet and for some reason after about a month with professional maintenance my extensions became lifeless, dull, matted AND shedded way too much for my taste. I’m here to tell you that with my current extentions from Queen I do get shedding but it’s so minimal that it’s not a huge bother and it’s holding up beautifully.
Upon getting this hair, I dyed it to match my natural hair tone, shampooed and conditioned it, laid it across a counter to air dry and later got the hair installed with no product being added before or after (Side Note: I had a good amount of hair left over after the full install). It has been approximately 3-weeks since I’ve had this hair installed and I found it very easy to manage and to shampoo/condition myself.
Once dry it had it’s natural wave pattern and still no tangling and still had it’s natural shine. I did use a tiny bit of oil on my extensions after they dried thoroughly. As far as pricing, I paid about $270 for three bundles of hair at 18, 20, & 22 inches (3 bundles is usually the quantity you need for a full head) and shipping. I received the hair 5 days after ordering and the seller stayed in contact, so I experienced great customer service. I wouldn’t order extensions from anyone else nor would I EVER purchase from a local beauty supply again after experiencing the quality of this hair and best of the price. It’s also been said that you can use the hair over again for a fresh installation. I haven’t tried it yet but I’ll be back with a review if I decide to reinstall.
